Artist Bio

 

Abigail Beames is an artist from Trumansburg, NY, who enjoys exploring a wide variety of mediums and subjects. Abigail has been creating art since she was little and plans to continue to follow that passion for the rest of her life. She currently attends the University of Pennsylvania as a student in the PAFA/UPenn program. She will be graduating in 2025 with a BFA from University of Pennsylvania and an advanced certificate in applied Positive Psychology. Abigail has won the John Bradley Sutton Annual Cast Drawing Award, Top Senior Fine Arts Exhibitor award through 4-H and the New York State Fair, and numerous fine arts achievement awards. She has exhibited in shows such as The City Rises and Good Habits Formed II: Examples of the PAFA Drawing Culture. She has also Illustrated a children’s book. Following her graduation, Abigail plans on continuing to create art she wants to share with the world.
